Affordable mechanic work for Henryetta and surrounding communities — Okmulgee, Dewar, Schulter, Weleetka, Wetumka, and nearby. We service vehicles covered by powertrain warranties. Hours and parts are posted. Nothing is booked until you get a yes.
VIN uses the federal decoder. It tells us year, make, model, and engine. It does not pull codes off the truck.
Straight answers
No. It is a request. The shop reads it when there is time. You get a yes, a different window, or a no. Do not leave the vehicle. Do not prepay parts until that yes is in your messages.
Only after the shop accepts. A timing kit or a set of truck rotors is ordered for your VIN. If the vehicle never shows, we own parts we cannot put on the next job. Labor is due when you pick it up.
Oil, brakes, shocks, and joints use typical independent-shop book hours for the vehicle class. Phaser jobs do not — those are 15–20 hours because book time skips the purge, the trims, the codes, and the test. A VIN can still change either number. We confirm before we start.
No. On the 5.0 Coyote and 3.5 EcoBoost the expensive part is opening the front of the engine. We replace phasers, chains, guides, tensioners, and VCT solenoids as a set. Then it gets oil, coolant, a proper purge, fuel trims reset, stored codes deleted, and a reliability run. A 2019 kit was $2,000 in parts. Plan on 15–20 hours, not 12. Doing it halfway is how the same truck comes back.
No. Not in this shop. After ball joints or anything that changes the front end, we send you to a local shop in town that has a rack. We will tell you when that trip is required. It is not on our invoice.
Yes. We service engines, transmissions, and related powertrain work on vehicles that still have a powertrain warranty. Bring the warranty paperwork and the VIN. We document the complaint, the diagnosis, and the repair so you have a clean record. Coverage is between you and the warranty company — we do the mechanical work and give you the paperwork they ask for.
Selected vehicles and retail parts are listed under For sale. Inventory is available for inspection at the shop.
